Growing up I always wanted to be a musician but being tone-deaf pretty much put a stop to that. So I did the next best thing and joined the music biz, WEA Records in London’s Soho. So much fun, but not creatively satisfying, so I spent the next few years traveling in the US and Canada where I discovered my creative voice through photography. What drew me in was the personal side of documentary photography. Though I’ve photographed everything from cars to fashion to conceptual, my work has turned back to those documentary roots, to telling human stories with real people, sharing my curiosity about the world, to creating work that tells a story, that has a point of view, a perspective, a style. Images with empathy.
